Your data, in plain words.
This is our privacy policy. We wrote it for humans first, so you can actually read it. Last updated September 10, 2026.
The short version
- We never see or store your card number.
- We never sell your data or hand it to anyone for their own use.
- Creators never see your email. You join a community; your address stays with BOJA.
- Your data lives on servers in the USA and is used to run BOJA and make it better.
- BOJA is run by BOJA Inc., a Delaware company. Wherever you are, your data lives in the United States, and by using BOJA you agree to that.
What we collect
When you create an account we ask for the basics: your name, your email, and whatever you choose to put in your profile. As you use BOJA we keep the records the product needs to work: your communities, your posts, your purchases, your settings. If you sell on BOJA, we also collect what the law requires to pay you: tax details and an identity check.
Kids
BOJA is for adults. We do not knowingly collect anything from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have, we delete it and close the account.
Payments
Your card details never touch our servers. When you pay, they go straight to our payment processor, which is PCI certified to the highest standard the card industry has. We see that a payment happened. We never see, and never store, the card behind it.
What we use your data for
Two things: running BOJA, and making it better. Running it means the obvious: showing you your communities, processing payments, paying creators, sending the emails your account needs. Making it better means we look at how BOJA is used, so we can find what confuses people, fix what breaks, and build what is missing.
Who helps us run BOJA
The companies that help us run BOJA see only what they need, work on our instructions, and cannot use your data for themselves.
Security
We encrypt your data and limit who can see it to the people whose job needs it.
What we never do
- We never sell your data. Not to advertisers, not to brokers, not to anyone.
- We never hand your data to third parties for their own use.
- We never show a creator your email address. They see that you joined, and that is all.
Cookies
We use cookies to keep you signed in and to run our own analytics. No advertising cookies.
Emails
We send receipts and account notices to your email, because your account needs them. If we ever send marketing, every one of those has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing never stops receipts or account notices.
Where your data lives
On servers in the United States, wherever you are.
Fixing your data
Your name, email, and profile can be changed in your settings any time. If something else about you is wrong, write to us and we fix it.
Deleting your data
Delete your account from Settings inside BOJA. There is a button for it, and you do not need to give a reason. We ask you to sign in again first, so nobody else can do it for you.
Deletion takes 30 days. Sign back in during that time and your account is restored. After that, your account data is gone.
Payment records stay, because tax and anti-fraud law requires us to keep them. If content was removed for breaking the rules, we may keep a copy for as long as the law or an investigation needs it.
If you run a community, deleting your account closes it, and the closing rules in the terms apply.
When this policy changes
If we change this policy, we change the date at the top and say what moved. We will not quietly rewrite it under you.
